The smartphone has a size of 68 x 9.5 x 133mm (width, depth, height), a 4.5-inch display with a resolution of 854x480 pixels and weighs 152g with the battery. With such a pixel resolution of course you can not expect miracles but I believe that the display has beautiful bright colors and it also does not look out pixelated.
It is very comfortable to hold and creaks or crunches. The back is, when it comes to fingerprint, quite insensitive. Inside there is a 64-bit quad-core processor with 1.2 GHz. Built is a GPS receiver and a digital compass. There is a 2MP camera on the front and on the back of a 5MP camera with LED flash, auto focus and video light.
On the right side is the volume rocker and the power button. Below is the Micro USB connector and above the connection for the headphones (3,5 jack). The rear can be easily removed for battery installation and the memory and SIM card. What is needed is a Micro SIM card and internal memory (4GB of which approx 1.3GB on are) can be expanded with a micro SD card up to 32GB. Below the display you will find the backspace key, the Home key and a key with the one comes in a quick menu. Holding down this button (3 horizontal lines) a little longer, the apps that are all open to appear. With a slight wiping aside can end final then. The mobile Internet is with LTE Cat. 4 very fast but is only useful in LTE availability.
The battery is with its 2000 mAh very powerful and interchangeable. Charged I had the phone 49 hours before. At the time I was on the phone for a while, made all the settings, the internet tested (both mobile and Wi-Fi), some apps downloaded, made some updates, photos taken, tested the video function and games played. Rest battery for 49 hours ... 45%. I call that a strong performance.
The initial installation is self-explanatory. It is the language requested, followed by the Wi-Fi settings, and finally the account at Google and if you already have a Google Account, then follow the synchronization. Installed is the Android version 4.4.4. The surface is Huawei specifically what I like. There is no menu button where you can then find all the apps installed. These are spread over the 5 display pages. Here you will find quite a lot of pre-installed apps, from which you can uninstall some and, which can not be uninstall, can be at least disable. If you want to have it a little easier, then you can by pressing lightly on the right button to select (the 3 horizontal lines), the Simple UI, which somehow resembles the Windows Phone. Here you can choose the way also the background, browse the transitions in and select Widgets, display an overview (up to 9 display pages at a time) and View from here to get in the edit mode of the display. It is possible to create folders so that you do not lose the overview with the many apps.
The camera takes very good photos. Not bad not comparable with a good camera but for snapshots. She has a flash, which you could use as a flashlight. In the Camera app, there are a number of settings and filters which can be used to customize their photos. The enclosed headphones are mediocre but good to use as an antenna, if you do radio on. Bluetooth has also this smartphone, namely version 4.0. The voice quality when making calls is very good. My interlocutor has understood me very well. If you connect the smartphone to the PC, then you can find it with a small mobile phone icon on the desktop. Double-clicking on it there and you can move data to your smartphone. So there is no separate program needed.
I have now a few days working intensively with the smartphone from Huawei and has been able to detect any defects. It is fixed, not jerky when switching pages, games can be played smoothly, the voice quality is very good, excellent battery performance. For the price you really get a very nice smartphone that certainly does not have to hide. Whether as a second phone, for beginners or for whatever ... the smartphone from Huawei does a good job and has his 5 star worthy.
