As positively perceived:
Primarily Lana has a beautiful singing voice, singing so really class, the lyrics are good. Their musical style is derived from influences of hip hop, alternative melancholic pop and pop music in the 60s style. Overall, an album that I like and often listen to it. Personal favorites and Anspieltipps include "Video Games", her classic, "Off To The Races", "Radio" and "Without You", which, however, is available only on the deluxe edition. In addition, "Born To Die", a song that you can always listen and "National Anthem" has power that motivates! Therefore also favorites. By the way, I myself am in possession of the deluxe edition and can recommend it because it compared to the standard version contains three additional songs, which are managed this well.
As negatively perceived:
Despite that their music sounds not bad, is even managed throughout, I have some criticisms of the melodies. These are slightly flattened at the same level and not much momentum. It is as if one indeed receives various songs with different sounds and instruments, but still uses the same soundtrack. Ultimately, that falls under the responsibility of producers and production, not Lana Del Rey's qualities. This is the only reason I can not award 5 stars. It should be noted I have, that I no longer really bad think this partly shallow melodies, often they adapt even to the songs and refine this result. In the beginning I had the more distorted and I wanted to pull off two stars in the rating for it. In principle, I would argue that one must have listened to the album at least twice in order to draw a conclusion, because to hear at first, it is not very promising.
Conclusion:
In any case, it is worth buying the album. Lana Del Rey is a talented musician who in the music scene still assert itself and will bring more titles to market. The exact reasons of my upshots I have already described above and therefore does not have to enter it again. Certainly hope that my review could help you.
