I was Sigma previously set rather ambivalent. I was lucky and unlucky with my previous Sigma lenses. Therefore, I have the 35er ordered with the USB dock to go to the (apparently normal) autofocus problems out of the way. After the first 3 days I wanted the lens almost back again ... The AF did not want to meet what he should. As a problem but turned out in the end, the idiot behind the eyepiece out, and I soon realized that the lens hit almost always right in practical situations and in good light. The sharpness of the lens is really terrific. I can actually save my 50mm 1.4, because the images cropped from the 35s are just as sharp. I also like the handling and feel of the lens very. Wonderfully balanced and processed dibasic. Just a thoroughly enjoyable lens.
For completeness, I of course would like to address the "almost". My only complaint so far is that the lens when you manually stop infinite sets, unfortunately, nothing is sharp. This makes night shooting from starry little tricky. But well ... so many times I do not do that. :)
