I think The Sims 2 - Castaway very versatile, relaxing and amusing. Finally something where there is not only comes to killing and fighting.
It has been in the game endless choices when it comes to designing their own figures (male / Weiblein / Hairstyle / body proportions / clothing), and also on the island it is never boring. Bit by bit you constantly learn new objects to build or manufacture.
So you start with a small shack made of palm leaves and bamboo, and worked himself up to a nifty Bungalow made of clay, stone and even glass windows! Of course, one must also set up his home with rustic chairs, benches, beds, tables, lamps, carpets, paintings, sculptures, etc. All this is of course one of the laboriously collected raw materials such as sisal, bamboo, softwood and hardwood, leaves and grass ago.
The animations in terms of picking of fruit or harvesting vegetables, I find very clearly designed.
Clearly it is not realistic that the radio found the aircraft wreckage has never battery weakness, but everything else I find very close to reality. To chop wood, you have to get an ax from sharp shells and a bamboo stalk tinker. At first you catch fish with a rickety wooden spear, later tinkering you from sisal rope a practical fish trap net that you interpret the sea.
To make certain difficult items, one needs sufficient physical strength (obtained by climbing trees) and logic (one learns by fishing) or creativity (music and clothing manufacture), which total constitutes a further incentive to train his Sims eagerly.
The missions are quite varied.
You start on a fairly small "Start Island" alone. (No matter how many Sims you have done!) There you have to first explore the area and certain vital things produced (fireplace for example) Later, it will have been trickier to build a boat and rowed to the neighboring, larger island, where his companion finally hits. Here you have to be in the planting beds and prove to the hunting of animals (which is not so easy!)
Total wait waterfalls, caves, beautiful beaches and jungles to explore. As a secondary objective we studied hidden treasure maps parts and tablets that composed give a solution at the end.
I can not understand how someone can play through this great, versatile game in 3 days really. Clearly it should not be the only point of the game, "race" through the missions. Stranded is quite clear (as it did in the previous parts!) Exercising of one's own Sims to rooms even better / bigger / nicer items can - crux of The Sims 2. At some point one has a cozy, charming beach with bungalow, family hearth, three seater sofa, double bed and lots of decoration such as potted plants, sculptures and paintings. Not to despise ur huge selection of produced garments: Flower chain, spring clothes, palm leaf shorts, bamboo skirt, straw hat ... all in tens of different variations (short / long / unisex / only women or men, coloring options ...)
A point in fun and overall I prefer from the graphics problems and the disturbing loading times. Saving takes clearly too long and eats loads of space (1100 KB!) In the mass of objects on the other hand understandable again.
Conclusion: Hours of fun guaranteed! If you liked the previous Sims games, will adore this game!
