"The Wall" is a strangely restrained album. In the song "pub" (see Sample) the everyday world is getting behind a veil that leaves everything seem absurd, because the lyric I refused to understand. This intoxication is characteristic of the entire board and draws us into its spell. Here no song will be a hit, we should admire or understand anything. The plate ripples unobtrusively into the ear and then gnaws further and makes us forget that we thought we knew everything. "War", for example, is a political song, the expectations, the inclined poet may us please explain a little bit the world, enchanting escapes by the war like an animal describes: "He is not dead, the war, he sleeps just ". That understands every child, and yet we remain somewhat perplexed back.
