This fifth book, I was waiting impatiently, and I was a little disappointed. Maybe I expected too much from the king. The plot revolves around the relationship between Noah and Kestra, but also rebel vampires seeking power in the blood of Nocturnes to dethrone Damien. The first part is long, but the result is more upbeat. Noah is different in this volume. It shows its weaknesses and doubts, but still protective and loving to his family. Kestra is rebellious and stands up to the king, until the discovery of the world of nocturnal, there it all changes completely. This change is too fast, but it is only from this passage that the action starts and the book becomes exciting. A tome below my expectations. A second part with more rhythmic action and emotions, despite a slow first part. I look forward to reading the tome on Jasmine.
