With a Razer Copperhead long (network games) and associated with a conventional mouse pad, I first made the move with the Razer Goliathus (soft mat). However, I have not had satisfaction with this carpet because the act of moving the mouse in a linear fashion is not retranslated faithfully on screen (presence of "jumps"). So I made the move with the rug. This carpet is made at the base of 2 parts: a flexible portion + "pad" based handle, and a "plate" hard with 2 faces (smooth on one side and rough on the other) placed on top. I first set the carpet as the image to consider the rest handle. Not being used to the handle rests and not having I think ergonomics at my workstation, I abandoned that rests by simply turning the handle 180 ° carpets (I think retry the experiment later ). Then I tested the "plate" and my choice was the rough side compared to my Razer mouse. I see a very good linear response and reactivity of the mouse. I add that a friend has the old version for over 5 years and is still satisfied with his product.
