Sound:
Mainly I hear music (from Death Metal to House) through this system. I think center-weighted music like blues, rock and metal represents the biggest challenge for those PC systems.
It is clear that the optimum reproduction of mid-range and low-mids never be the strengths of such systems.
However, the X-XE looks better than other 2.1 systems (50 euros), I've tested.
The system generally has a relatively well-balanced sound, which you can still adjust a little as they wished by the 2-band EQ.
Positives:
+ Wooden body of satellite speakers and subwoofer (natural sound)
+ Seperate volume, bass and treble controls (on the back of the subwoofer)
+ ON / OFF switch (on the back of the subwoofer)
+ System is with or without (supplied) "wired remote" functional
Negatives:
- Short Chinchkabel for Satelitenboxen
- Cable remote control is very easy, therefore has no firm footing and can be operated by slightly worse
Neutral:
, The Quälität of audio formats is most striking is reflected in the re-transfer of the heights again.
Conclusion:
The price / performance ratio is great! For me, the Speedlink Gravity X-XE is the best 2.1 system with the best sound in the class up to 50 euros.
I hope it makes you the decision for or against buying this 2.1 speaker system easier.
