Since I work currently playing with a Class 1 sound level meter (> 3.ooo), I tested all free Android apps available times on the Kindle Fire devices and come to the conclusion: This app here is the best.
The app has the following menu items

Very simple, and very well done. That there ever is a menu, and information / contact for developers and how to measure (calibrate) should, and what frequency range is covered ... I find in Verlgeich to all other apps downright fantastic. Maybe the Pro version offers still more amenities, I will probably not test, because here's my - for private - completely sufficient.
That the measured values be represented as reasonably reliable I found remarkable (positive!) --- But that may be different from machine to machine! (I can only strongly recommend what the developer also specifies: Compare with a reliable sound level meter, or if possible with a calibrator)
From me a recommendation! (And with this word I am absolutely frugal in my reviews.)
