Now I will sometimes give my two cents. Sure, the new album is a matter of taste as it is very different from Down To Earth and Ozzmosis, Black Rain sounds most of all outputs by Osbourne No More Tears, but also not too much. You can hear in this album most definitely the Zakk Wylde on guitar playing, as the songs of instrumental ago partly extremely strong sound like Black Label Society. The opener Not Going Away fetzt sluggish and muddy from the speakers, to the voice of Ozzy, which have been somewhat distorted in this song, it however comes the song to the best and leaves you wanting more, even the guitar solo had my mouth open, honest, something came from Zakk in Ozzy really the last time in No More Tears. Quite different from most reviewers I find the music I Dont Wanna Stop, it is indeed a horny Pops, but can one really go quite fast on my nerves, since the proportion of Pop, and pop melodies in this song is extremely high, yet class number. The title track is something completely new and sounds already almost by Black Sabbath anno 2007. Who does not notice here the guitarist Zakk is, probably has no hearing. The song comes right doomy and therefore verges on Sludge Metal. The Ballad Lay Your World On Me is a total of not the best of Ozzy, but also includes beautiful melodies, especially if the text lines -In here if you need a friendlyway come. With The Almighty Dollar gibts was rocking on the ears, tidy it grooves in the 7-minute piece, therefore, is for Ozzy conditions which really brand new. 11 Silver and Trap Door are probably the fastest songs on the CD, and certainly the best. Both come really fresh and something from popping therefore, the insane, even the monkeys. Ok, for Ozzy relations course. The second ballad Here For You is strongly reminiscent Dreamer, in my opinion, but better. Overall, a decent comeback of Madmans showing a whole new side of him, for he who has said bands / artists should not evolve? When new young bands ever, posting the same we grumble all, so Ozzy can again rausholen in his old age everything off, so there is at least someone of variety offers, and whenever something like Black Rain comes out, he can do that from now on quiet ever make. For sound and the production one can only say that we have succeeded. So who is a fanatical fan of the old things, to halt before check it out, I am also, however Black Rain is certainly the best since No More Tears, and come with me right behind the aforementioned and Blizzard of Ozz. Done.
