First, I wanted to note times, that it is probably here to WiFi version and therefore heard criticism of the 3G variant rather also for 3G iPad. I've bought the iPad for about a year after my iPhone and have to say that yes, maybe it's just a big iPod Touch but therein lies the difference. That will probably confirm anyone who has ever tried to reason surfing on an iPhone (or other smartphone in size) on the Internet or work. Since I own the iPad dust my old PC laptop. It's just much more convenient, fast times to take the iPad at hand and something to look into the internet for or to send an e-mail, as a constantly high and to drive down the computer. There are also a really good gemachetn email client which of course now of course (thanks be iOS 4.2) can also manage multiple accounts easily and clearly. In Apple store vast amounts of more or less useful helpers that offer something for almost every taste. The keyboard is really useful (eg just write this review on the iPad), though initially some getting used to. Furthermore, the device offers the possibility to pursue a Apple Wireless Keyboard via Bluetooth. The much complained of a lack of connectivity can be with some tools via WiFi to get a grip (streaming audio and video, and drive integration in the local network). But around here to address three points that repeatedly lead to resentment, I want to make something clear from my experience: 1. No, the iPad is not a competitor to the Kindle. The eBook layout of the iPad does not come close to the clear readability of the Kindle and the offer of German literature in the Bookstore is just too sketchy. 2. The iPad is not a full-fledged notebook replacement: Although the device offers a lot of possibilities, so it is for the ambitious user can never replace a real PC (Windows or Mac), but only in composite enhance the mobility 3. In principle applies here again, as with all Apple mobile solutions: Who is at loggerheads with iTunes, should rather look at the competition and stay away from the iPad. This applies of course only for users who want to work with. Those who are looking for status symbols may, natürlcih still access ;-)
Due to its simple and intuitive structure, the iPad also provides computer muffles but for example (I am thinking also to older individuals who are overwhelmed with conventional PCs) the opportunity to participate in modern life with Internet and e-mail. I could well imagine the device eg for my parents, who regularly hair-raising sit in front of their PC.
In my opinion, Apple is definitely having this device had the great fortune, which it certainly is true one or the other to improve (but what is already perfect in the IT sector). The show, too, sales (both the Apple and the back previous sales of netbooks) and last but not least, the now-onset flood of competing products. Just a pity that the good old tablet PC (full notebook with a touch screen) is pushed further into the niche.
