For the price (80), unbeatable! The desk mount clamped reliably, the arm remains in any position without springing back. The built-in transformer is a barely audible hum of itself - I'll take it when not working right and it really is very, very quiet. Due to the length of the screen of 60cm also an excellent illumination of the work area is given. Only the luminosity is - paradoxical. I'll try to explain it: With three built-in fluorescent lights I thought the thing would enlighten my whole apartment daylight. But this by no means true. The lamp illuminates exactly a desktop, better: the object to which it is working. If I lean back to relax my eyes and my back, so I feel the light every dark as a My. But I'm going to get closer and look at something directly under the lamp, so is actually no difference to identify broad daylight. I can not really describe it, it is merely a curious side effect. It is in any event said that under this lamp for hours, glare and fatigue-free work is possible, all shades of an object are clearly differentiable and no shadows dares into the light of this lamp. Incidentally, I paint to small tabletop and figures for this type of work, the lamp has been created probably; especially since the color temperature of 6500 Kelvin reveals compared to normal daylight no difference of colors.
