The imaging performance of the 70-300 G represents me extremely satisfied. The Tamron 70-300 USD (VC) can not keep sharpness and color here technically. The contrasts were at Tamron pretty dull, especially the back focal length end. By contrast, Sony Lens scores once again, because it is not only sharp grenades at the telephoto end, as I have to be pleased, but also the contrast and color reproduction are outstanding. The lens quality also like it very much, it feels high quality. Autofocus is fast, very quiet and sits where it should sit.
I "cry" the Tamron not a minute afterwards. Combined with the Zeiss 16-80 has an imaging technically excellent set for the SLT-A57.
5 stars if I could, I would give 6.
