Best Vacuums previously (test for about 2 months)

We have long been looking for a vacuum cleaner, which is suitable for a household with pets. We both work and have two white French Bulldog, this breed does not shed all year round an awful lot. The previous vacuum cleaner (Siemens and industrial vacuum cleaner) partially clogged quite quickly but especially the smell was very unpleasant is often caused by the pet hair and dirt. Change Every time filter would be too expensive in the long run and become harmful to the environment. So we started to look for an inexpensive alternative and came across the Thomas Pet and Family Aqua + dust and wash vacuum cleaners and are thrilled!

First of all, we have tested the wash eyes on upholstered furniture. The assembly has taken quite a bit of time to complete, but after reading the manual went this also quite fast. Processing made right from the beginning a good impression, the parts are stable, snap well and all in all makes of vacuum cleaners with superior and stable impression.

The disadvantage is that the water container for washing eye is relatively small, so you have to have good 4-6x refill at a 3m long couch and also at least as often empty again but if you water and detergent provides beforehand that goes well pretty ragged. The suction result and especially what the suction dirt from upholstered furniture outdated I personally find very amazing! In the holding tank was located both dirt, sand and hair and lint although we have sucked the couch before. The coffee is then still slightly damp. We do this procedure every evening, so that the bed can then dry out overnight. That means smelling fresh, slightly lemony and not audringlich or similar. So test washing eyes were on us.

Then we tried the same "wash-spray sucking" on our hard floors. The assembly was also here a bit awkward at first but even here the operating instructions has created immediate corrective action. After a short time we were thus Startklar and then have about 150 m² "wiped" in about 2 hours. Here we are, however, have mixed feelings about this. First of all you have to say that the container unfortunately are a bit small and you often empty or fill must (in the 150 m² safe 4-5x) and you always have to suck in one direction / wipe, which we rather when vacuuming indeed here "crisscross" determine the direction you have here but always lead the vacuum cleaner in one direction, as it otherwise the water again can not absorb with. The water is by jetting and also equal sucked back here so lacks a bit the "Schrubfunktion", in that the water is only executed sprayed and equal resumed, it is neither really high pressure (like a Dampstrahler) still with a Routierendenbewegeung ( even incorporated as a scrubber o. ä.) in the hard floors. It is already behind clean but unfortunately goes with the good old wipers almost clean. Man saves here but an operation, in terms of time one is not really faster.

But what really is still a great feature, is sucking water filter. Here the container is filled with water and inserted into the vacuum cleaner instead of a normal vacuum cleaner bag. Now you can normally suck, after about 30 min. you should empty the container again and fill with fresh water. In this suction of course does not have to pay attention to the direction of suction, now may be completely normal like other vacuum cleaners also sucked. The air is fresh, however, you have no more Müffelgeruch, also you no longer feel that the sucked dust blows back out again (in front stench ago). It smells refreshing and pleasant, sometimes even after the funds for the upholstery cleaning / hard floors. So that's really our absolute favorite of the sucker.

The nipple is relatively heavy when empty already, of course, filled even more. We have a house and need to hang up and down stairs, this is certainly not a negative thing. Stairs sucking is difficult with the sucker, because it's just relatively big and you also can not just put him on edge, because it is usually so filled with water. Despite its size and weight it is really robust built and very agile. Two large wheels on the sides, and a small front and center, making the sucker manoeuvrable and easy rolling / swiveling.

- Relatively high weight / relatively large, not really suitable for stairs

Conclusion: For us, the vacuum cleaner is great and we would not want to be without. He has an awful lot of accessories and here makes me real vacuuming fun again. Of course, all parts must be cleaned thoroughly after use but does not bother me, so I had my other cleaning utensils as well. Everyone has to decide for itself but if the vacuum cleaner is suitable for him we would not want him to give up.
