Brilliant graphics, dense atmosphere, a hammer moderate soundscape a captivating story and a still very strong gameplay.
Since the first Splinter Cell Part one will actually topped in the genre of Schleich Games only from the successor self created and this is my opinion, in this part of the case. Double Agent is better than its predecessor "Chaos Theory" in all respects. The story is simply much more real and authentic design and the adrenaline choked places where one is either for or against the US government, are easily implemented awesome (if they occur too rarely).
"Double Agent" performs at last no longer just from a completely darkened skyscraper or bunker to the next (let's face it, what secret organization can so many rooms dark, so that only each agent comes easy), but it also comes in brighter scenes, for example, a yacht or a city in the Middle East.
Despite the new venues in principle everything stays the same. Sneak still possible sent to the opponents around and trying not to get caught. The mission in this case are designed usual varied and absolutely never unfair. Time to break out of a prison, then placed to put a bomb on a ship or horscht from a secret conversation of the terrorist leader. There is plenty to do in the fourth "Splinter Cell". Anyone who has played any of the previous, knows how the blood pressure rises when you just want to crack a door and a guard heading straight at you. Such a feeling I know of no other competition titles (not MGS 3).
If you can or must chalk up the game anything negative, then it is the uncanny short Time. This is likely to be the first by playing Splinter Cell veterans probably at most 6 hours, even much shorter in the second. Another minor complaint is still that one has his promise still not redeemed that all decisions in the game has a strong impact on the rest of the game. Decisions have consequences, but these are not really very serious.
Overall, a terrific game, an absolute flagship title, but with a playing time of 6 hours, 10 hours, if you play through it twice, is simply not enough. For this you can not assign 5 Stars.
Still, I think that "Splinter Cell Double Agent" is an absolute must-have title. A masterpiece just ..... really!
