Do not Explain (Audio CD)

Customer Review

A great name: Joe Bonamassa and me until now no real-present blues singer Beth Hart take a Blue plate with 11 or 10 pieces, most of which cover many of the greats. (Billie Holieday, Ray Charles, Tom Waits ...). So on paper this is only once nothing special, but when the question comes, they like playing the pieces, then I am immediately taken. Joe is limited to the guitar - which I welcome personally - and leaves Beth Hart on vocals. And that makes it really good. She has power, dirt and eroticism So everything that makes a good blues voice. In order to get pieces like Do not Explain and Chocolate Jesus - my favorite - with its own character, or perhaps a certain erotic touch that still reclaims many pieces a new facet.
Produced the album "modern", ie bold, strong bass, very dynamic and with little space between instruments and the guitar of Joe's to effect laden for my taste. That's the only criticism, but the five stars I give still like.
