For several years, I am looking for a resonable electric shaver. It should meet the following criteria: quick, gentle on the skin and shave, good handling, not too heavy and not too noisy, no cleaning station, no more expensive than 200 EUR. So far I've owned two Braun shavers and Philips. The Philips was from the 8200 series and has cost approximately 120 EUR - he was by all the worst. The razor was indeed pleasantly quiet, but shaving lasted about three times as long as with a Braun appliance. After shaving but were often still stubble and my skin was very red and irritated. Overall, I found the shave to be very uncomfortable. Both Braun appliances were also in the higher price segment. The shaving I have always felt to be quite pleasant. My skin was almost never appealed. The shaving was fine, the shaving time acceptable. As a very negative I felt the sound: m. E. much too loud, especially in the morning very unangnehm. The longhair Schei Santander was indeed OK, but no longer sharp after a while. An exchange is not readily possible. As far as the history of ...
Since I have really convinced neither Philips nor Brown, I have decided after long searches and considerations for the Panasonic. After a short recharge, I shaved myself and to make it short: all the above criteria met this razor like no other - with the exception of volume - here the Braun Philips is quieter, but louder. But: the Panasonic shaved so thoroughly, fast and gentle on the skin, as I have experienced it in any other razors. The device is well-made and pleasantly light. The trimmer is moved down and is easy to handle.
I do not know what could be improved in this shaver (except for the volume). As the device proved itself over a long term, has yet to emerge. So far, a truly great device!
