Unlike the supplied Intel Boxed cooler this is really really quiet.
Although you have to fight a bit to anchor the 4 "plugs" in the motherboard, but I decided for this cooler, because I do not all the mainboard Removing and Replacing wanted and am quite happy with it so far.
