Between biscuits, creaking and Capone

From the basic concept and construction ago Dime City is similar in style just the classic "MADtv" (no wonder it was still programmed with the same engine) is passed out own little "business empire" and that of a single building. Thus it has already, as far as the similarities. For where MadTV and Co. are very sweet and nice (some espionage acts against colleagues transmitter times out in the cold * zwinkerzwinker *) because Dime City is bitter to a beastly funny way.
The concept is just as simple as "addictive": under the guise of a perfectly ordinary factory (with such funny names like Ducky Strike or Cookie Collective) to build secretly as a budding Al Capone his personal criminal empire. The possibilities are numerous and especially effective: for example, can be anything the criminal world has to offer, adjust the in-house job center and send on training courses - where for example, pimps and burglars learn how the "Commercial" to run has (who nevertheless not spurt, unceremoniously gets concrete shoes and sunk in the harbor!), not to mention of großspurigem arms trade with foreign countries altogether. In addition, the city card offers the possibility (which is not as robberies, bank burglaries, owner terrorist and everything) to plan all illegal activities thoroughly.
By the way we must not ignore the fact that the city of their own evil machinations yes to notice anything - after all, one wants to be elected every year anew to the mayor! What could be more to bribe as an important representative, always to donate large donations to charitable objects and to give all legal guise investments in land, property and other assets, so that public opinion always remains clean and positive!
Sounds all very easy, because there is not the local superhero that a permanent mucking, the own boss not to speak only of the hard-earned kloppt coal with lavish vacations abroad upside. Perhaps one should the ravishing secretary but abschwatzen the self-destruct code for the yacht of the Old to finally have free rein ...

To put it briefly: Dime City is magnificent! It's funny, easy to use and makes just addicted. The graphics are - DOS Greetings - slightly pixelated, yet incredibly loving; the functions of the Games really guarantee simplest control and continuous gameplay.
Under XP all running though only with Dosbox and only with significant restrictions in the configurations (animations and sound disable to avoid crashes!), And in general there are in the game some unpleasant bugs that were unfortunately never patched (eg the universally dreaded HQ raid, leading to 99% of the crash). Nevertheless, you should definitely give the game a chance.
Because let's be honest ... we were going to ever want to be on the dark side of the force, right ?!
