Biggest gripe: The input is very "tricky". This means that if you want to enter a city name, then it happens very quickly, that the display selects the surrounding letters or random jumps back and forth. This is very annoying because sometimes you need more attempts to input text. I also have other people can test the input and all the same picture emerged. Have also tried the TomTom GO 730 or 520 and who have built a much better display. The touch screen worked flawlessly - mistype is not there!
That's the main reason why I will return the XL2.
But the pluses are still:
+ Very easy to use (menus)
+ Relatively easy / small therefore convenient to take
+ Intuitive holder
+ Price / performance
Negatives:
- Fiddly control !! (Onscreen keyboard inaccurate)
- Fewer to some settings than in the Go Series
Can recommend the device for users who do not constantly use the Navi, but it only occasionally to use and has few frills need (Bluetooth, voice recognition, etc ....)
However, anyone who has something bigger hands and not as accurate operated the display, you should definitely leave it alone. Or, at best, before testing on!
