Of course, Mary J Blige can not release it absolutely bad album. This can not be its grandiose voice and emotional potential. After less than two years the Queen of R & B released their new album and believe again in every aspect. The entry succeeds extremely well with two club numbers and draws the listener immediately into the spell. "Said and Done", and "Good Love" are classic album tracks. Solid, but can not stand out significantly from the mass of the 12 songs. Not so with "I feel good", "I am" or "Each Tear", which manifest as hat-trick in a row, the qualities of Mary J Blige anew. Especially convincing the confident ballad is "I am". Mary J Blige leaves no doubt that it is best looked after by her. As at the beginning of the end of the middle part is again filled with classic album tracks: Not bad, but not really so convincing that tracks would have to be heard repeatedly.
"In the Morning", however, can run in an endless loop. The big highlight is hidden at the end of very successful oeuvre. Pure emotion in a grandiose ballad that provides RnB in perfection and even the ingenious "Color" from the film "Precious" effortlessly outshines.
As always, Mary J Blige manages to create a real album. It acts as a unified whole, which is favored by the appropriate reconciliations from track to track. Actually, you can hear only one song.
Conclusion: Of course, a couple of filler contained, but overall a great record, everyone should have RnB fan in the closet. But that was in Mary J Blige anyway clear!
