The 4th part of Driver designed much better than the failed 3.Teil the series. In this part we have endeavored to significantly better programming, which is also largely succeeded. You get the "Atmospheric" to Driver revived, which is especially well done, especially in the first playable time (late 70s). You have to know that the story mode in 1) past (70s) and 2) modern times (today) is divided. If you durchhat the story mode, you can choose freely between the times, which is very cool. The steering of the car is well done. You can see the cars now tune what was obviously abgekuckt of GTA San Andreas. The choice of cars is not as diverse as in GTA but ok. You can choose between muscle cars, station wagons, hearses, small car, fat Limos, motorcycles, trucks, buses and SUVs. Sounds a lot, but are of each type, only one or two model variants. The city, in which one hangs out, is also managed but also here you have far fewer opportunities than in GTA. The pretty graphics missed the city then something like life. The selection of weapons is quite passable but ... GTA is better here, in other words more choices. The music played, especially in the 70's is iconic and fun while riding. General but too little music, the songs are repeated very fast, which sometime a little annoying. Really negative aspects, there are hardly ... the game is ultimately lacking in a sense of depth and indeed to Driver 3 extended possibilities ranging San Andreas or even GTA 4 but not the water. One sees the good will of programmers ... unfortunately enough the alone is not a game a la GTA to bring to market. It is and remains an average GTA imitation because GTA is all a bit far better. Recommended the game is still all those who want to try something else but always to gamble GTA. Which lends itself to this game, a good alternative.
