Although having seen the comments on the products broken, I still bought this unit (on another site), hoping it would arrive in good condition. I received, handled with great care, back in every sense, a good look at the hinges ... no apparent concern. One morning, as recommended in the user guide, always manipulating it gently, I let heat the vacuum apparatus to nine odors from the off and allowed to cool, without touching it. And this is the time to use it in the afternoon, I discovered below a large visible crack! Is the heater which break the plastic or she reveals a micro slot? Still, a device should not break, nor because of the heat or because of transportation (polystyrene is there to parry the blows, no?). I think there was a particular design problem. An imbalance of weight or size between the different elements of this device? What a shame because it really looks good. So I give up this model.
