This book is a surprise and a big favorite. I really enjoyed this modern reading, tender, refreshing! I immediately attached to the characters. Evelyn is a young girl well. The girl next door who wants to control everything, made plans for you, a life project all nice, reasonable. It starts with her best friend Lauren celebrating his 21st birthday in Las Vegas and wakes up married, tattooed, a diamond 5 carat fingers and a monumental hangover. The problem is that EV has not married anyone. She married guitarist of the rock band of the moment, The Stage Dive. The difficult shot to pretend the marriage did not take place face the horde of paparazzi waiting outside the home ... David and Ev really moved me. Ev is smart, funny, direct. This is a fairly realistic heroine. David is adorable and very human. It is very engaging while remaining "Man". Everything is well written and the work on the characters makes them alive. Even the secondary characters make you want to know their history. There is much humor in this novel and we feel the love of the author for his characters. It is a different novel to me. He plays about what to emotion, tenderness and humor. Very good cocktail. A simple but endearing book.
