Big name, nothing behind

This USB hub clearly shows that there are quite a downside even in brands with good reputation.
Material and design are good, but in terms of functionality and processing are a major problem.
The rear connector does not extend far enough outward so that the cable only halfheartedly has contact and is not recognized properly by the computer. Board is apparently only clamped and not screwed properly. You can see it clearly when you plug in a flash drive and then moved a little in this port. Advantage is, you can see the board now so tilt that you can now get the connector far enough into it, if that is so wanted - I do not know.
The ports are too stiff, I had at times afraid to give me my stick broke.
Due to the technical shortcomings there are deductions in the A-grade, the star is really only for the good idea. Execution flawed.
Conclusion: do not always have anchors, are similar devices, much cheaper. Since the expectation is not so high and the frustration at not favor lower.

Postscript
This morning an email from Anchor Service received the offer of a replacement unit or refund.
I then decided to go for the replacement unit, because I actually go out of it that I like some others here, get a device from a "Monday Charge".
For the friendly mail and prompt service I forgive again 2 extra star. Let's see how that develops.

Addendum # 2
The replacement has arrived (in record time). The new device is much better, the rear connection is ok, the recognition worked right away.
While the ports are still stiff, but not nearly so extreme and you have no fear more have around its periphery.
Actually, that would be only a 4, 5 star rating, but Amazon does not allow a finer gradation.
So in this case for the accused and the fifth star for good support and timely communication.
