Deliver an appropriate review of Fallout New Vegas I find relatively heavy. On the one hand, the gameplay itself is: This can be summed up with just awesome. The atmosphere is again so successful, the humor so black, the world is so huge that one can not at all help but love the game. Yes, the "main action" or better the initial Quest does not look like much. In other RPGs that may be a death sentence, because I think the story now times the most important is a role-playing game, Fallout but that is something else: where the fun and the atmosphere comes from all the little stories and tasks that one of the hundreds place to entdeckenen places. As with its predecessor, the background story only serves an addition send in the world - what you do there is left for the most part the players. Boredom is, however - so far as one can RPGs abgewinnen something - not guaranteed to. There are a few bugs, but not game stoppers, nothing which is really annoying and not be overcome by a QuickLoad leaves (for example, if the companion on some unknown reason attacking friends) and on my PC it runs very stable. The combat system is broadly the same as in Fallout 3 - I was indeed the better 2 fallen from Fallout 1 &, but I can live with it. On the whole, there is nothing for me what the fun of exploring the world remains really tarnishes.
Now the other side: The sales. Here we have Steam compulsion German Cut and delayed EU-start. The latter is annoying (and imho from publisher perspective rather silly), but ok. The cut is not acceptable, a morbid world as Fallout needs nunmal the occasionally exaggerated (and therefore imho satirical) violence. The worst in my opinion is Steam. For this purpose it all really been said and one thing is clear: if I survive the atomic destruction in my bunker, I will no longer be able to play Fallout because the Steam servers are down. And for some Rad-X, I can play previously not exchange, since it is linked to the account. Unfortunately nunmal is the only way to show a publisher that does not agree to avoid buying such things, so I find it very hard to give a buy recommendation at this time, so great the game may be. Who Steam for the best invention since the light bulb stops (or whom it is simply matter) can of course safely access.
