This game is still true survival horror at its best! From part 4, which is to have the series supposedly "revolutionize", it went my opinion with RE all downhill. Action, automatic fire and anabolic heroes rather scary, ammunition shortages and convincing characters.
In Biohazard HD Remaster everything is exactly as it should be and it finally gets the what fans of the first hour waiting for years. Who then so called no Gamecube his own and has not become happy with the parts 4, 5 and 6, must be easy for you! Ribbons instead checkpoints, Hunter and zombies instead chainsaws (yawn ...), Costumes for free play (no overpriced DLC outfits), an oppressive atmosphere, a few puzzles (not as sophisticated as the water sample in Part 3, but still), multiple endings depending on how you play and some new modes that did not exist on the original PS1.
However, what bothers me is the alleged choice between classical and modern control. The there, yes, but this refers only to the movement of the figure, namely in which direction you press. I'll go with the modern method for example not clear, but just that one has the choice. What now it bothers me? The 5 bits of insanity key assignments! Since time immemorial it has been running on the square and X was open the action button for doors, pick up items and to shoot (after having specifically with R1). Now, however, is in all 5 control methods the action button on a circle. That's a No I find because the county is Tatse to cancel at the same time. My thumb is always on X and square. It is awkward every time the thumb of the X button (on which you now runs) let go to perform an action with circle. Why could you not at least one in 5 options arrange so that the action button on the square or X is? I do not understand. But is my personal problem, so I prefer the game no star to the effect.
What still bothers me are the corrosive load and store hours. Seriously, on the Gamecube has lasted the whole no 3 seconds. On the PS3, however, I stare each time half a minute on the screen before it finally goes on. And now tell me nothing because of other hardware or better resolution or whatever. Games like The Last of Us or Infamous make it also means that you must load only one time in the title screen and can gamble the rest of the game on undisturbed.
But no matter. Biohazard's like saying a must have for any fan of survival horror, especially if he has not gambled on Gamecube! I bought the game even though I mentioned how the GC version possess, in the hope that many others do likewise and Capcom finally noted has to look like a Resident Evil and what the fans (the real ones, not the call of duty kids ) really want. Incidentally bought Habs at Playasia, because you get it for 28 euros. At the customs I had again 6 euros pay more, but still better than 40 (plus shipping and customs).
