The last few years I had only Gigabyte motherboards in use and could use them without problems. After the server but accumulated error messages, it was time to replace the system. It should also be this time a Gigabyte Motherboard and first be tested as a desktop system extensively.

The date of the PC was turned on at 14, the error message appeared "BIOS defective". Automatic BIOS Recovery (BIOS recovery) worked only after multiple restart the PC. The current BIOS could be entered again without problems.

The UEFI BIOS no longer worked properly since then. It occurred then to even more problems. For example, the memory modules provided in the memory test lots of error. Only with minimal settings (1333Mhz 10-10-10-34) the memory was still stable.

I give 3 points because the board soon running 14 days without any problems.

I have also changed the manufacturer and taken a Board of Asrock instead.
Therefore a correction of this review with a new Gigabyte board is not möglch.
