The Xbox version has received unanimous critical acclaim rightly. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (SW: KOTOR) provides: - A non-linear, exciting plot with perfect integration into the Star Wars universe - Very large freedom of action with an impact on the relationship with the light or dark side of the Force - Multiple character development regarding general skills (skills), fighting qualities (Feats) and use of power (Force Powers). - A complex combat system (in real time, at any time to stop, to give tactical instructions) - A change by very different planet to be visited - Many subplots - Loosening minigames - Puzzles / problems with nice modules and alternative solutions These points provide a high replay value. In addition, the Xbox version (NTSC) from SW: KOTOR: - Quality setting (spoken dialogue, soundtrack) - Very atmospheric graphics with lots of special effects - Any timely save the savegame - Convenient user interface. The PC version also promises: - On a powerful yet beautiful graphics and animations through higher resolution and system speed - Shorter charging times - Correction of smaller bugs the XBox version The quality of the elaborate German translation (complete synchronization) and the modification of the user interface on mouse control, however, remain to be seen. My conclusion: Bioware has proven Dungeons & Dragons RPG system implemented elegantly in the Star Wars universe - who likes the movies, will be sure excited about the detail of the game.
