So this is what Appears to be the final installment in the Day by Day Armageddon Series. Well, it is not really day by day anymore Because for some reason JL Bourne Decided to ditch the diary form of the previous novels and switched to third-person storytelling except for a few random diary excerpts. Kilroy, the narrator / writer diary of the previous two books takes a backseat, bascially doing nothing during the whole book, while the story switches between two different groups of mostly Special Forces operator. Here lies Bourne's Greatest Strength and Especially the scenes on Oahu are pretty damn tense, even though the characters are barely more than a bunch of names. The ending comes pretty fast and very abruptly and feels a bit like Either the writer lost interest or was under some deadline. And his idea for what Caused the undead armageddon, well, I guess it is a matter of taste and as a writer in this genre it's pretty hard to come with something original. Despite the flaws quiet a good "zombie read" and luckily far away from the kind of stuff out there trashier.
