2. Personal experience with the product
- I already had various versions of Bitdefender in use in the past. Bin but eventually switched to Kaspersky, Bitdefender as could not keep up. This has changed with this version again.
3. The Price
- Kaspersky calls for an upgrade version !!!! (This is to purchase the previous version ahead) over 30. This is in my view an insult and rip off the customer.
Now my assessment of the product itself:
1. The delivery was as usual very fast. Packed the whole thing was in a padded envelope, which housed the CD sleeve including CD and Key. Well, in the store you get something pretty packed, but it all came to intact and that I will not complain.
2. The shipped version was, as described on several occasions, in English. If installing from a CD, it can not change the language. But here [...] you can download its corresponding version in German. While this is only the demo version but you can insert the supplied key during installation and so has the full version. Has worked out perfectly for me.
3. I am using Windows 7 64-bit. I had previously installed in 2013 Kasperksy Internet Secrurity. Have against the problems described can not detect any errors during installation and operation of Bitdefender.
4. Bitdefender will start much faster than Kaspersky and is less hardware hungry. All programs start faster. An impairment my Internet speed I could not tell. On The Contrary! Flash videos load faster now than before, and the development of Internet sites is also more fluid than before.
All in all, Bitdefender Internet Secrurity 2014 worth buying. Not only is it cheaper than Kaspersky Internet Secrurity, it also consumes significantly fewer system resources and slow down the creation of websites not as strong as Kaspersky. Ultimately, everyone must decide for himself whether he opts for Bitdefender or another product. Here I can only express a strong buy recommendation.
Due to the supplied English version but I will only awarded 4 out of 5 stars, as it shown here, but in my opinion was not strongly emphasized enough.
