Black Sabbath

This album is really hard to put into words. It's brilliant! It is the birth of Black Sabbath and thus, as my "previous speakers" has been correctly observed that the heavy metal.
The first track is the title track, so of course, "Black Sabbath". The song is just perfect. The intro consisting of rain and wind noise generated a great atmosphere that the name of the track (and what one imagines under) is more than fair. Like a Lightning strikes the crashing Main Reef to (only with silent drum sound) to make the verse in connection again quieter. In the verses Ozzy's voice comes to their best advantage, it fits perfectly in this song absolutely einhunderprozentig. Towards the end of the song this unfolded again in a fast part, which entrains the handset and one can hardly escape the headbanging.
The sequence track is "The Wizard". He begins with a harmonica intro and turns into a great guitar riff that goes quickly into his ear and really called 'Heavy Metal' will meet. "Behind the Wall of Sleep" is a very abstract song, because the rhythm is very unusual and the ordinary listener gets "put to" him also not good. But that's what makes this song a special. "NIB" is a well-known Sabbath-song and an absolute classic. The song is, as it turns out later, got attached to the image that Sabbath after the release of the album from the horned and is significantly involved.
"Evil Woman" was the first single of the album and did not increase in size in the charts. It is quite a "traditional" song with a straight pattern. "Sleeping Village" is a highlight of the album. It acts while listening now and then like a half-instrumental and is characterized by initial gloomy Athmösphäre and subsequent, again awesome sounding riffs.
"The Warning" is an instrumental, and indeed a Sabbath-typical. Many structures, many different melodies, phases and passages. It demonstrates very well the skill Toni Iommis on guitar and is otherwise excellent. However, it might at first hearing by the above-mentioned diversity mess something up emerged the true strength of the piece. "Wicked World" represents the completion of the album. It's the way the first song the Black Sabbath have developed. A very good conclusion to a not at top debut.
This album is the origin of heavy metal and the mother of all heavy metal albums. It is so brilliant that I it's hard to believe some "true" Metal Black Sabbath fans know only by name. Again is this album, unlike the hippie songs from that time, seamlessly the test of time and still sounds absolutely great. Of course, 5 stars!
