Assassin's Creed Rogue - [PC] (computer game)

Customer Review

First of all I want to write that I have not played Unity, because I only wanted to play the old, and then only the new Assassin's Creed. So I get probably less culture shock, and can look forward to the "Nextgen" more.

But Rogue. This part of the series I can back rather dissatisfied. Part 3 of the series, I had stopped because the setting not spoke to me after being in AC2, Brotherhood and Revelations in the great cities of Italy and Konstantin Opel go. Although Black Fag, however, was not a real Assassin's Creed, but brought the pirate setting over very well, the Caribbean was also very well chosen as the scene. So now here we have the mix of Part 3 and 4, which means to me that the negative parts of the third part was more bad than good trying to mix with the good of the fourth. But what exactly bothers me to the Rogue?

Above all, the setting. Contrary to expectations is one too much into the river landing in North America on the road, which comes across more easily and leave in advance per se, also the North Atlantic is not really big, the vastness of the Caribbean are preparing the boat more fun. Next to me is playing a Templar, former assassin, not really reacted well. Shay Cormack is a protagonist quite understandable, but why he is no longer as Templar quirks? Then there are the problems of the old control who like something hakelig fails, apart from the often barren gray-brown and white landscapes times.

On a positive note, in addition to Shay Cormack per se, but that it certainly motivated, his ship, the Morrigan, upgrade again until you defeat the thickest pots. There is also for the fans of much Sammelkram, I belong only partly, again a lot of things to discover and collect as you can sink into play a lot of time.

Who therefore AC Rogue is now something? I would say, for fans of Part 3 and 4 and the setting, also the America series is completed with this game and tense the bow to Unity. Players who have only played the latter, but should be clear that Rogue is through and through even a representative of the previous series, which means a step back both graphically and in terms of control.
