I must admit that I first took the "Bonheur & Mélancolie" very skeptical to the knowledge and great distance from the acquisition of this release have taken, but when the CD has now landed in my mailbox yesterday, I did the same course in the CD player throw and must listen, and then became an intense auditioning immediately from the preview.
Should Messrs Blank & Jones have now surprised me after the publication of "Relax Jazzed" for the second time in quite a short time and I pointed out that one also to lesser known musical worlds rangehen completely unbiased)
The French pop I actually am not really busy since the 80s, even though I'm a big fan of the music of our neighbors from that period (so do I, for example, the Club 80 series of Arnaud Ralite only highly recommend).
I have the names of the artists on this release, except for Caroline Clement, the one has kenengelernt by current Blank & Jones releases first nothing said and the short sound bites here at Amazon (which also klanglisch not necessarily yes top) who do not even can anni ming for sale.
Now I am very pleased to be able to still hear the CDchen, because it is a really worthwhile purchase!
Although the CD sounds very relaxing and large, and thus then nevertheless a typical Blank & Jones's compilation again, they can certainly not be compared with other releases such as "Relax" or "Michbar" series and thus should die Blank & Jones fans, as well as not necessarily strike at the "Relax-Jazzed" blind.
Who typical Blank & Jones Kost-expected here should nevertheless first be surprised;)
I personally like the album a few exceptions very good and of course it also offers a few highlights.
My Anspieltipps would for example equal to the first four tracks of this compilation, as well as the delightfully simple and cheerful thus coming "Le Bonheur" of Berry, the Stardelay mix of "J'en remains Là" by Blank & Jones & Caroline Clement and the version Définitive classic "Comment Te Dire Adieu" of Blank & Jones and Berry.
Also absolutely the finest the title "Et Puis Juin" from Rose, the beautiful are "Nuit 17 A 52" by Christine And The Queens (one of my favorites on this persönlischen Compi) and of course not forgetting the many certainly already known "Days Go By "Coralie Clement & Blank & Jones.
Klanglisch this shekel is malwieder an absolute delight and the mastering is once again at its best!
Because it is in this compilation is a quite special CD I wish to express here are not absolute buy recommendation, but I can recommend it to anyone here once a listen completely unbiased)
