Bluetooth terminations nervous! Problem solved !!

After me almost the BOSE SoundLink II "drowned" would be in the last Pool Party, had to be somewhat waterproof and so I came to the Shoqbox. The I trust easily to a very good splash protection, at least makes the box a very stable impression and might probably really suitable for outdoor use. Processing looks solid for the price (55.-)

From a sound forth quite OK, only against a BOSE SoundLink II not to approach a chance. To be fair, one must also say that the BOSE is 5-6 times more expensive. Thus, as measured by the price of Shoqbox the sound is good. Who needs to spend more expected even more.

Operation and coupling extent self-explanatory and without any problems, even with multiple devices.

So far, I was pleased with the box and exactly what I was looking for. Now to the points that led to the withdrawal of points.

I have constant Bluetooth crashes with two different smartphones tested both successfully working with BOSE functioning. Xiaomi MI-2 and Sony Xperia ZR. And it is a little better with the Xiaomi as the Xperia ZR. I have here a Motorola Razr i I still testing can, but I also think that it will be no different. Something does not work Gar and is annoying.

The second point is, I always have the volume turned up on the box and Steer the volume on the Phone. All tones or announcements are therefore always played at full volume and not in the volume set on the smartphone.

Completely incomprehensible that the box does not remember the volume level.

Have not yet decided whether I keep or send back the box. Maybe I got a defective device in terms of Bluetooth problems. Only currently it is worth it to me no more than 2 stars. Actually a pity because otherwise this is a truly excellent price-performance ratio.

Supplement 20.12.2013

I have found the cause of the problems with the Bluetooth. With me were some other Bluetooth device is turned on and this is turned Bluetooth caused the disturbances at the Shoqbox and the constant interruptions. If you disable the Bluetooth on the other hand, the problems ceased. Strange and I never, but well, it had now everything works and that's what counts. That's why my new rating with 4 stars. I let the previous recession are aware perhaps has a similar problem and has as a clue what it is.

Supplement 09.05.2014

After nearly 6 months in operation, I have increased to 5 star. That part is just awesome, the battery lasts in normal operation so about 9-10 hours. The sound is very good for the size. Our constant companion at the pool or on the beach, by the water spray strength, the box also nothing will happen. With wet towels fallen together in a backpack or even off the table ...? puts the Shoqbox away loose. For outdoor operation in my opinion the best BT box.

Whether I would buy me again? To all cases!
