In this price range is not self-evident - the notebook offers full HD resolution (1920x1080)! I opted for the variant with i5 4200M processor - together with the fast hybrid hard drive and 8GB of RAM for me perfectly adequate. To me (on my old NB Windows Vista was installed) is the fast system startup highlight - rd. 13-15 seconds to become ready for operation (also a compliment to Windows 8). The update of Windows 8 on 8.1 ran as easily (but takes time). Furthermore, the notebook is very quiet in operation. The Nvidia graphics card (GeForce GT740M here) was one of my selling points. If one wants to mobile so would possibly be a smaller version in direction 15 inches and with a matt display to be superior for outdoor use. Who fast notebook with great screen (glossy) and will want to play one or the other game (it must not always be in high end area), the IdeaPad Z710 is recommended in this price segment. In my view, a successful purchase!
