Supplication: Chernobyl, the world chronicle after the Apocalypse (Paperback)

Customer Review

Impossible for me to write this book (I'll call him 3 *) because
It is a series of testimonials from people (mostly Belorussians) who experienced Chernobyl.

We find a lot of suffering, linked to disease, death, loss of home, starting a new life elsewhere, being regarded by others as the plague
There are many common points in the evidence, which may seem daunting, but ultimately we can draw a common picture of these people. We often find:

- The love of country
- The sense of sacrifice, of duty
- Love of the land
- The attachment to his house

there are also the characteristics of the communist regime:
- The lack of attachment to human life
- The many passes right of party members
- The lies of the party to stifle the truth

Must-read book, you come out necessarily upset.
I have a thought for the Japanese who must live in the same time atrocities and yet it really is not large or small press headlines.
