Millennium, Volume 1: The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (Paperback)

Customer Review

Having been attracted by the hype around this saga, I bought this first volume to get an idea of its quality so highly in the press. Then, the American version of the film had the merit to me the mouth water.

Crushing disappointment when after 300 pages of reading, I give this book. I do not like leaving an unfinished book but I can not force myself to go further. The book is boring share endless lengths, a set up of the plot and far too long writing can be too heavy. Yet the story is quite interesting and the relationship between Mikael and Lisbeth is very attractive. Unfortunately, it's not enough to keep the reader in suspense face much heaviness.

Fortunately I did not buy three at once, it would have made me very badly. Shame because the film version 2012 is really good and makes you want to know the history. But when you know the weight of the book boredom, we go its way pending further film.
