A very wonderful new album from Pennsylvania quintet Automatic, which now more than ever as Air in the sugar / sounds acid mantle (with a pinch of Boards of Canada) thanks trippy, slow beats, analog Plingplong Atari synths, slightly detuned guitars and quite typical vocoder singsong. "Eating Us" is psychedelic vintage Indietronica its best, well suited for Weekend Chill in the bath or for welding and bustle of hipster lounges, does it hear well, the first time "hi" from legendary producer Dave Fridman (Flaming Lips, Mogwai. to have been ..) pimped. If old Automatic Trailer irritate, possibly earlier, sometimes a little wooden lo-fi charm miss - but win a lot of new fans.
