Now before I rumschwadroniere about a brief explanation what are my expectations / requirements:
1. A highly mobile, portable device
(Highly mobile means to me that it is operated by long-lasting battery and fits almost in the pocket of a baggy jeans).
2. Connection via Bluetooth
(If with all my portable and non-portable devices can be connected wirelessly. AUX is me completely snuff, because I want there rumwerfen no cables and for which I have inside my sound system ?!).
3.Stabiles housing quality, which does not fall over or equal wafts
(I could here now write one page about sound body ... just let it times. It is said to have weight and valuable aspect and his.)
4.Gebrauchstauglichkeit
("Intuitive" was a term of marketing, I call it usability and make it the device ofpreparing even slightly: I want a high performance, by little "Knöppe" and additional bells and bells and whistles, the part is play music, can not make coffee.).
5.Guter Akkustik
(So now we come to the interesting point. I'm expecting a very good subjective-good sound for a device that accurately! Corresponds All previous requirements.
Sounds trivial, given the many negative reviews here but apparently not. Chill, here some buyers had the expectation that from the small speakers of the sound of a "line-source" comes out Plant for 200,000 ... uh yes, no.
So to emphasize it again ... no cable, tiny, long battery life, good sound for a tiny case, point.
Hupp! Who would have thought it ... covered by this consideration here 80-90% of negative reviews sweeping through because apples have been compared with pears (more on that later).
Soooo, we come once to my review:
to "1. A highly mobile, portable device"
Absolutely satisfied. The battery lasts about 7 hours, unless you rotate the part to Meppen on, then the runtime will surely go to 1-2 hours down. Portable? Weighs indeed felt a ton for the size, but should still in a big baggy pants fit ^^.
5 Points.
to "2. connection via Bluetooth"
Everything not open at three tree was (iOS, Android, Windows) was coupled with it and worked fine. The connection was consistently stable. And I have, however, no distance> 15 meters tested. Those who intend to set up the thing in a gym and runs to the other end will probably be disappointed ...-.-
The device stores up to 6 units, is +1 to the unit the least used is kicked back. All relatively unimportant, the coupling takes only a few seconds either way and I did not even remodel with 4 source devices to the DJ booth in front of the unit.
5 Points.
To "4.Gebrauchstauglichkeit"
Yes um ... 6 buttons, so manageable. On / Off, down / up, Bluetooth, Aux, Mute. Everything my heart desires. Who would have thought it when on on / from it drückt..schaltet be An..ODER From Wahhnnsinn. Down / up is also expectation compliant with the Bluetooth button, the unit switches to the "One must search me now" mode or in the "have you found, you may now play music" mode. I describe that extra so..ausführlich because it had some problems with it arrgggee.
What, however, but to complain about: That device has an armada of battery-saving modes. So after x-minutes = no use of. After x-minutes = no Bluetooth, and after X days without any usage = Only connect to power source again re-animated. This is not immediately apparent, but does not bother me, on the contrary, I prefer to have a long battery life.
4.5 Points.
to "5.Guter acoustics"
Ok, that is probably the most important. According to my requirements (see above) has the part to my mind ... a BOMBS sound. Do you just not make the mistake and compares apples to oranges here, the sound from the speakers of the most balanced sound you my humble opinion, could get out as a small box. Since there is not much more to say really.
One should note several things when you draw up the little box:
1. The sound that comes out of the device is directed. That is not you are in the "sound cone" suffers from the quality of the music clearly.
2. The sound varies depending on whether the unit is free in space, or on a wall. I recommend to place the device where it is on a wall or in a corner. But even without walls, the sound is very voluminous and balanced.
3. You will not believe it, but some people have, the speakers turned upside down ... the Bose logo must point to one! -.-
4. The distance to the box should not be too large (ie gym falls probably still out), all between 2-10 meters but is fully covered.
Ideally, therefore meets my needs. Neither I will provide sound a gym, nor do I expect klistallklare High, Medium or woofer that exceed my 2000 system or come right ..
These few points are not higher quantum physics, but actually logically deducible and self-explanatory.
Now to the sound quality. I have more or less played from all music genres what. In the middle register and with medium volume of small actually everything happens in very good quality. Given the natural limitation (Chassis etc.) has Bose "everything right". Much of the music sounded pleasant. At a schrebbeln it never actually comes and bass appears just right to me.
For the layman is told: Of course there is some "magic", which may not be quite kosher. The system cuts the bass from some places hard, what you realize is the music turns on and very quietly. Nevertheless, we remain with the requirements (see above) and for Bose has just found the best compromise.
I am absolutely delighted with the sound! 5 Points.
Overall, therefore, also a 5!
So we come to the conclusion again .. to some criticisms from other reviews
1. No remote control ..
Let us consider again why we need the equipment ... oh yeah! Out in the park to sit, or grilling .. how practical this is proving ever having to take care of a small mini remote point I even questioned. And why we have again paired the phone with the device ?!
2. Extra volume control on the device
Incomprehensible to me that that is criticized ... yet I have at least a choice whether I VLT directly on the unit or. 10 meters wide would regulate away at smartphone volume ?!
3. guard (Bose logo) is sensitive
MY GOODNESS ... So let's face it ... the same discussion there is at Smarthpones "Waaa I've spent so much money, I waaa wants because no scratches on it have waaa". I-Stell-ins-shelf device - it's a commodity (party, beach, park and so..ihr know already) and not "Hey Digger, are you looking at, horny part?". So either you fit on it and hey yes it works even, or you live with it. Otherwise, it's just like in smartphones, the wailing and cries heard after 2 months in the forums, at the latest, if you popped in our own stupidity that part against ne table edge.
4. To bassy and muffled
Bass-heavy ... too bassy for what? For what kind of music which piece which volume where the unit was ?! Oh ... that do not write most of then yes again. To my mind the bass is just perfect. I do not tear the volume but to Meppen, where the sound even at Music genre "Hardcore" still sounds acceptable. Is important to note what I said above about sound quality, then nothing can go wrong. Oh ... the bass is NOT simulated but real measurable. But it's true, there are sub-frequencies that go under, but it's still worlds better regulated, as the competition makes.
"Too dull" ... I have no idea whether the people have only bad Mp3 formats or so, but dull is nothing here to listen to me. Maybe you should times the Kopp direction speakers turn ..!
5. charger looks cheap
Yes that's right ... I would now rather liked a gold-coated platinum shell, but a plastic with rubber feet ... you can not show his boys something ... is clear.
The part of the job done, but that should probably do the trick.
So some notes before you want to buy the part:
Listen to it first. I do not say it, because I think I am not what I've written, but because the sound is simply perceived differently in each. Physically, I can promise you, the part time makes it all right. Listen to it but please do not in the overcrowded media market on Saturday afternoon at ... more of a quiet spot just. And remember to watch the demo stuff. Until that arrives at your ears, was the x-times encoded and decoded, thus falsified.
Here again a good (written) test, including a few physical details:. [...]
So I hope I have the one or other again to convince the buying (or not)! I have a lot of fun with the little thing and you also vlt.ja soon ;-)
