Bought extra for underwater shots, we are thrilled

I bought this camera specifically for our vacations. As intended, of course, primarily for shooting under water (in the pool and in the sea), but also for the beach and excursions. We make regular diving trips or other very "heavy water" tours where I need a small, light and above all waterproof camera, which also makes decent pictures. The low-budget versions came along from the start for us out of the question.
For all other shots I use a SLR camera, or smartphone for snapshots.

Since I am not very technically savvy, I can only judge the quality of the images and the operation.
First of all a few words to the camera, which is actually super handy. She has almost credit card size :-), it fits in any pocket or eg these extremely narrow belt bags. All connections are located behind a cover, which is closed with a little pressure and therefore is also completely waterproof. To photograph the privacy shutter is just pushed up and away you go.

In addition to the normal automatic modes, there are also numerous effects that work really well. In dry conditions, the camera takes good and (in bright light) very good shots. For a compact camera the pictures are really good, but of course not to compare with a DSLR.
Where me the camera but totally surprised, are the images under water. They are really good and depending on the water is also very sharp with a great depth of field. The best that goes naturally in the pool water, but also the slightly turbid seawater, the images are great and the colors are very true to detail.
As well or even better the recording of HD videos underwater, which is really fun and looks on the large TV out absolutely awesome.
Important Camera is only for the underwater shots rinse with clear water.

Even if I give 5 stars, there are 2 smaller shortcomings. The battery does not last really long, especially with the video recordings he makes fast limp. As we come straight to the next point, charging only works with the included power supply. Although the connection (Mirco-USB) are also attached other chargers (eg by phone) that does not charge the camera but unfortunately on.
