This is the kind of book that despite its flaws reads quickly because it is handled by the author who builds a complex plot with action and surprises galore. Arsène Lupin is not here burglar or expert in disguises but a lover who desnouer investigation to the son of a gigantic conspiracy. That is not fine literature, but it's effective.
