Who has ever tried in the infinite (shelf) expanses of our supermarkets (from discounters I will not even speak) to baked beans to go, it will perhaps know to appreciate that this "food" is now here and yet is to buy at a very fair price. (Moreover delivered free!)
Although I do not call myself a fan of canned vegetables, I do not come thereabout baked beans. The Same preparation "means an immense effort. Beans (min. 12 hours) to soak, then boil, then fry onions and tomato sauce / ketchup with all sorts of ingredients ... So, no, because the day is over half, before a breakfast on the table stands. ;-)
From the quality I am absolutely convinced that beans are not gematscht, the sauce is not too liquid. The taste is perfectly okay without seasoning.
Short heating (1x boil) in the pan / small saucepan sufficient. If available, I fry a few strips of bacon (yes, hearty, rich, totally unhealthy bacon!) In a pan and then add the beans added. (No secret ingredient as Doctor McCoy in Star Trek 05 - The Final Frontier ...)
Nevertheless: Yummy!
