I bought this battery-powered LED light for my windowless bathroom. As soon as one turns the light, a fan goes on. In order not to wake my partner, so had to be this solution.
*** Packing ***
Unspectacular and easy to open. Instructions for assembly are recorded in the form of pictograms, batteries are included.
*** INSTALLATION ***
Here there are two possibilities. Either you glued the included round metal plate on a wall (tape has been applied), then you can hang the magnetic nightlight to the plate or the hole located in the metal plate one uses to this means of screw (which is also included *)) or to attach nail. I chose the first variant. The metal plate bonded bombproof, the light itself remains it adhere well, even if it does not make it the most stable impression.
*) Is located under the battery cover and actually looks as if it would hold together the housing ... but is labeled "Mounting screw"
*** *** OPERATION
Here you can choose between different modes. On / Off / 10s / 60s. These can be selected via a switch under the battery cover, thus can not be quite so easy to switch.
Both a light sensor and a motion sensor to decide whether the light is to take things or not. This works quite well for me as soon as it begins to dawn or in the dark bathroom always when no light is on.
And that's also the reason why I can recommend the light in my application scenario only conditionally: After a hot shower is reasonably much steam forms. This seems to confuse the sensors, so that the night light, as I stand in the shower, despite switched normal lighting like to play disco.
*** CONCLUSION ***
At The offered price you get a decent night light, from which one may, however, do not expect miracles. The brightness is fine, the sensors work well, but can be irritating in the bathroom from the water vapor. As soon as I have to change the first time batteries, I report to, how long they have held.
