The flat rings fly very far and are very easy to throw and catch. Even younger children (from 5 years) quickly get to grips with them. They offer the wind little contact surface and can not easily be "Gone" as Frisbees. The only drawback: the water to go under. Mostly they are found thanks to neon but again (rather than take orange yellow).
I prefer the 25cm 33cm Aerobies the variants clearly ahead. The "big" fly extremely far and reach high speeds so that the catch or an accidental hit at passersby can be painful before. Who just wants to have fun and it does not fasten on world records, should take the "small". Anyone who has a solitary 200m lawn or a large beach available, which is better off with the 33cm version.
