For some time now awaits with anticipation, I was able to time on November 20, the brand new album Get FAUN "Book of Ballads" from the mailbox. Full of excitement I gepult the CD from the film, the shell turned in the form of a booklet and turned and finally classified as a high-quality finished under industrial conditions as Job skills (Buchbinder). The joy grows glancing at this booklet, which leaves you with texts, notes and guitar chords hardly a Fanwunsch open. The high convincing CD case is by no means do justice to the content. After two hearing, I have not experienced any significant increase or development compared to the last album "Totem". This is where my tension on the new plant was founded. Because as well as humans could raise the level again? Familiar and unique are the sounds and perfect arrangements. Beautiful melodies and warm voices. Very good I think this Fiona and Rüdiger. The faunas and all its employees kudos for another truly successful musical work. For a big success with it, I push them all thumbs. A tiny thing there is, however, yet. One thing that will have the effect that the "Book of Ballads" is not often heard from my system. Namely content, it is almost completely past my interests. Basically, we all knew what kind ballads or lyrics would come to us. The "Acoustic Tour" from the beginning of the year was here very clearly. Still, I had hoped that the development of further strikes a pagan nature spiritual direction. Medieval bands there - though not in this quality - a dime a dozen. But for music for people of pagan tendencies that are both deeply rooted in the history and forward facing, there is plenty of demand, which is no longer covered here. Reassuringly, however, that this music should be very daintily, as they could be abused by neo-Nazis. And the next album, the Dragons are the good guys again! Agreed? ;-)
