I have measured both the original battery as well as some China-replicas. Was measured with constant 500mA discharge to shutdown by the battery electronics itself. During the China-replicas all only reached between 550mAh and 600mAh and relatively sudden abschalteten towards the end with heavy voltage dip, the Sony battery still holds well the tension even after 1200mAh. The low capacity can already guess based on the significantly shorter charging time. Was measured over several cycles, so that the new batteries could also provide its entire capacity available. The sudden shutdown by the China batteries can result in doubt for data loss when it enters to the SD card during writing. A disadvantage of the Sony battery can therefore mention just the price - you get good 5-6 China-copies for the price of an original batteries.
Update: After more than 2 years of use show the majority of my China batteries significant capacity losses and off very early from. Both original Sony batteries still run smoothly, however.
