After I had (Map requires two antennas) my old internal WLAN antennas damaged I needed a replacement. I ordered two pieces and front mounted directly on the WLAN card. The cables are (as can be seen!) Quite short and a more distant assembly thus not possible. The back of the antennas have a rather practical tape, which you should use only if you want to mount the antenna fix. Since I had to fix the antennas in the front housing area of my Lenovo (somewhat shielded) was a certain loss of signal logically. According to recent measurements, the compound is stable at shorter distances, but overall weaker than the wireless reception with the cell phone (or an external wireless card, or with the former antennas). In further tests, I'll still try to reduce the shield. The reception power for external installation (or in an area which is less metal in close proximity has) is expected to achieve significantly better results. The homepage should DeLock further details and the exact dimensions of the individual modules offer (Google).
