For his second studio album, Chakuza took as features, among other standard fare as Nyze, Bizzy Montana, Summer Cem, Kay One, D-Bo and unfortunately Bushido on board. But there were also tried a few experiments with Raf Camora, the German hard rockers Lenny Wolf, egj singer Tareec and Evelyn, compared to albums by labelmates ("Saadcore" and "Sans Souci") bring the certain amount of variety. But the quality of this variety is debatable. Thus, for example the track with the new singer of gesignten ersguterjunge Tareec a total disaster. The Hook is nothing special, just like the beat and the chorus of this same Tareec want you can prefer to amputate the ears. Too bad, because of the vocal side already what would go. Quite in contrast to "Let me breathe" has the track "Jackpot" with Lenny Wolf real makings of a hit. Especially the part of the Kingdome Come-founder gives the song a certain something.
The same is true also for strong tracks like "ER (feat. Bizzy Montana)", "What then? (Feat. D-Bo)", "We machine" and the fat Battle track "Light and Shadow" along with Nyze. When Beat DJ Stickle and Chakuza to have outdone themselves and also lyrically it is just fun to listen to the song. Unfortunately Chakuza shows flow technically and lyrically on "Knots" too rarely what it can actually. Unfortunately, so are a lot of the remaining tracks nothing special and can not carry on attention to themselves even though you just because of the sometimes grandiose beats her more of them could have done. An example would be "Steel City Boy", which comes across totally meaningless by Lyrics ago. Also "What happened" shows good approaches, but by the wildly exaggerated bass no more than average.
Another thing that is bothering me about this album, and actually on all releases of EGJ that none of the artists may waive Bushido. On each first single from the artist Bushido's label he has heard. So it was with Nyze, Eko, Saad and now, unfortunately, in Chakuza, and I really thought that at least he has the balls to do without Bushido as Chakuza in Germany enjoys a fairly high profile status and does not necessarily count on Bushido. Sole D-Bo now able to show with "Sans Souci" to that it is also "solo". Furthermore is "Knots" is not necessarily one of the best songs on the album. But that's just my opinion.
A special mention deserves the intro, which immediately makes like a listen to the album. The Beats have become as I said very good, but unfortunately it creates Chakuza not realize its full potential and therefore make it not to meet the high expectations. Therefore 3 stars from me, but certainly with the upward trend.
