Bullshit, crap, botch ........ !!!

I early May 2012. bought a Q220 level and since then almost every week 2-3 times grilled. The barbecue is great, I have so grilled foods to which I have previously never dared everything, really everything good - no, great - worked. To clean the cast iron grate, I adhere to the proposals of the company Weber: lid and allow to burn out at the highest level 10 minutes until no longer smokes, then with a brass brush the still hot grill brush. Simple and ingenious, the cast grate is really clean and is clean for the next use. Within last 3 months now the inside of Aludeckels suffered visually. The initial aluminum silver color has given way to a dark brown to black patina. This was to remove my goal, the use of this cleaner (Weber Q Cleaner) from the house Weber ended up being very disappointing. Although can be taken from the operating instructions that this cleaner is designed specially for cleaning the inside of the hood, the effect was nil. It is written that after an exposure time of 30 seconds (!) Of the greasy soil was wiped with a damp cloth, none of this is reality. Since I had dismounted for cleaning the cover I "played out" in various test runs various exposure times, with a maximum time of 30 minutes for this (!) I stopped the test for this purpose. Absolutely no success, I've probably thrown out of the window the money invested. I will now try to buy Dr Bechs Grill Cleaner and then hope I declare that this means then stops what Weber promises.

And another point of criticism. The multilingual on the spray bottle manual is written in such a small font that it is legible almost exclusively with magnifying glass. This is an outrage, because this is a detergent, its application should be read easily but legible from a normal-sighted people. What I use a variety of languages, if by the texts based on the character size, are almost unreadable.

Well, this is the 2nd flop with additional products from the company Weber. The aluminum grill trays, which are intended under the grill to catch grease, be with the time "full of holes" and let the contents seep into the underlying metal.

Oh great, I either empty now after each grilling the fat from the aluminum dish, or simply omit the aluminum dish and let the fat on the carrier plate drops or try the relevant retail to find a stainless steel shell that similar mass as the aluminum trays and having to the carrier plate is placed.

But to come back to the cleaner back. Stay away if it is branded fat. A normal fat film you will (also female) can certainly remove, but not what I have tried to remove it.

By the way: The finest steel wool works wonders, the application is exhausting, but very effective.
